Sunspot region 1476 released an M5.1 flare peaking at 01:47 UT setting off a powerful CME (coronal mass ejection).This event will not be a direct hit to Earth, but will most likely present a glancing blow to Earth.

Region 1476 will rotate around the western limb of the Sun within the next 24 hours which would move future activity away from Earth's direction. However, it is unknown what effect would be caused from farside flare and coronal events.

C-class flares are expected from several other regions on the disk. Watch for extreme weather events within the next 48 to 72 hours.

Farside CME
A bright Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) is currently seen blasting away off the farside of the Sun. This dual image by Lasco C2 and STEREO Ahead COR2 captures the event in progress. The source of this event was an eruption around old Sunspots 1470-1471 while transiting the farside of the Sun.

The 2012 May 20th solar eclipse occurs at the Moon's descending node in central Taurus. An annular eclipse will be visible from a 240 to 300 kilometer-wide track that traverses eastern Asia, the northern Pacific Ocean and the western United States. A partial eclipse is seen within the much broader path of the Moon's penumbral shadow, which includes much of Asia, the Pacific and the western 2/3 of North America.

The annular path begins in southern China at 22:06 UT.Because the Moon passed through apogee one day earlier (May 19 at 16:14 UT), its large distance from Earth produces a wide path of annularity. Traveling eastward, the shadow quickly sweeps along the southern coast of Japan as the central line duration of annularity grows from 4.4 to 5.0 minutes.

Earthquakes, Volcanoes, Eclipse

During research for my two book 'Solar Rain' and 'Global Warming', I found historical evidence showing a relationship between solar and lunar eclipse and earthquake and volcanic events which followed. Recorded historical events indicate a 14 day window on either side of the eclipse. This is to say 14 days prior to and 14 days after the eclipse, substantial major earth changing events would occur.​

Regarding solar eclipse, researched data suggest it is an action of magnetic flux along with rapid cooling and heating to Earth which is the cause of tectonic movement. As to lunar eclipse, it is both the rapid cooling and heating to Earth and a gravitational pull affecting tides causing 'fluid displacement'.

So far, I would say it has been a series of moderate results related to Sunday's solar eclipse. However, history tells us it is a window of 14 days prior to; and 14 days after the eclipse.

I have received reports from all over the world who have witnessed Sunday's eclipse. Received several photos, but what captures the moments of the eclipse is a fascinating time-sequenced video. (see below)

Rare 5.8 Mag. Quake Hits Bulgaria Near Sofia

A rare moderately strong 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck Bulgaria on Tuesday at a relatively shallow depth of 5.7 miles. The epicenter occurred only 14 miles west-northwest of the capital Sofia, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake hit at about 3 a.m. local time. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

Sumatra's Mount Marapi Erupts

Mount Marapi in West Sumatra erupted early on Friday and sent a column of volcanic ash into the sky, but posed no immediate threat to the local population, according to an expert.​

"It erupted at around 7:16 this morning and sent ash some 600 meters into the sky before a light wind blew the cloud toward the south," said Suparmo, a volcanologist at the Marapi observation post. He said the eruption only lasted for about 10 minutes on the nearly 3,000 meter mountain.

Guatemala Volcano Spits Lava and Ash

Guatemala's Fuego volcano belched burning lava and black ash into the sky early Saturday, leading the government to issue an airplane advisory and close sections of highway.

The volcano, about 25 miles (40 kilometers) southwest of the capital, erupted about 2:45 a.m. (0745 GMT), spewing a column of ash up to 16,400 feet (5,000 meters) above the crater and launching burning red lava nearly 1,300 feet (400 meters) high.

6.0-Magnitude Quake Strikes Near Bologna, Italy

A 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck near Bologna, Italy, on Sunday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake, which initially registered at magnitude 6.3, was centered 22 miles north-northwest of Bologna in northern Italy at a relatively shallow depth of 6.3 miles, the USGS said.

The last major earthquake to hit Italy was a 6.3 magnitudequake in the central Italian city of L'Aquila in 2009, killing nearly 300 people.

Magnitude 6.4 Quake Hits Honshu, Japan

A series of Japan earthquakes erupted in the late evening - all centered off the east of coast of Honshu. No reports of injuries have yet to be detailed by local news.

The strongest erupted with a 6.4 magnitude shortly after 5 pm local time as reported by the USGS. Today's quakes were all located near the hotbed of recent Japan quake activity.

Tropical Storm Alberto Off U.S. Shore

Tropical Storm Alberto is turning away from the U.S. coaston Monday and was mainly a threat to beachgoers along the Atlantic shore from northeast Florida to South Carolina, forecasters said.

Alberto was centered about 180 miles (290 km) south-southeast of Charleston, South Carolina, forecasters at the U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami said. It was headed east away from the U.S. coast and was forecast to turn to the northeast on a track that would keep it well away from land.

Photon Belt Energy Signs and Symptoms

In May 1998, the earth officially entered into the 1st vortex of the photon belt and there is no turning back. Leading up to the Mayan calendar end date of December 21, 2012, the earth will be going through each one of the twelve vortexes of that Light with the intensity that is required for Her purification and preparation for Her ascension process into 5d Earth.
Since then, the various frequencies and intensity of the Light from the Photon Belt are no longer released at intervals. They are now bombarding the earth much more intensively and constantly. There are a lot of adjustments to be made in this vortex before we can move to the next one. All of humanity, in one form or the other, is feeling the effects of the new energy of this deep cleansing. Every person on Earth is going to have to do whatever it takes to adjust their consciousness and make the necessary changes within themselves to be able to move with and be transformed by that Light.
There is no turning back at this point. You are going to have to decide for yourself now if you want to ride the ascension wave with the planet, be transformed into the new species of humans that will emerge from this transformation, gain your immortality and ascend into the consciousness of the New 5d Earth on the 5th dimensional level, or be crushed by the wave and stay on the 3rd dimension for another round of incarnations. NOON CONJUNCTION: Mercury, Jupiter and the Pleiades are converging for a beautiful three-way conjunction. Unfortunately, it's happening in broad daylight. The two planets and the star cluster are only a few degrees from the sun. The Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) photographed the encounter on May 22nd: ​
